The Sales Engineer is to manage all sales activities in assigned customers including maintaining and developing existing business and identifying and acquiring new business/customers to achieve sales objectives and goals through both revenue & profit.
1) Sales Strategy & Planning:
1.Understand and execute the short-term to long-term sales strategy, to achieve the business goals & objectives.
2.Execute and implement the annual sales plan based on coach and guidance.
Follow-up and execute the annual customer plan for assigned customers.
3.Maintain good relationship with internal key stakeholders (e.g. marketing, product management, production, R&D, customer service, supply chain and other supporting functions).
4.Ensure 100% compliance.
2) Distributor Management:
1. Follow-up and achieve the annual sales target for assigned distributors to in line with the strategy.
2. Develop and execute action plans to enable customers partners and distributors to achieve sales targets.
3. Maintain strong business partner relationship with key distributors on comparable level.
4. Manage the claim negotiations from and towards customers within defined parame-ters based on supervisor's coach and guide.
5. Support the team to complete the annual distributors evaluation, advice the appro-priate distribution level setting-up based on business result, contribution and busi-ness growth potential.
6. Monitor the performance of assigned distributors closely, implement and execute the action plan to improve the underperformance distributors.
3) Key Account Management:
1. Understand and follow-up relevant customer strategy for assigned key accounts based on the guideline and coach.
2. Update the sales pipeline in CRM system timely.
3. Generate customer visit report timely by using CRM tool and provide feedback about key customer intelligence.
4. Follow-up the customer-centricity account plan to develop new business.
5. Deal with complaints as interface between internal stakeholders from function teams and external stakeholders (key customers, value chain partners, association, down-stream players), feedback the solutions to assigned customer on complains and in-quiries timely.
4) Business Development:
1. Build-up business acumen and market intelligence to identify and analyze potential business growth opportunities, understand competitive factors to support the busi-ness growth.
2. Understand the unmet needs of assigned customers, transfer the potential needs to Marketing and Product Management team to develop new products based on the coach and guidance.
3. Identify sales/market potential and feedback to Marketing or Product Management team to support further business growth.
1)Education Background:
1.Bachelor degree or above in chemical, business, economics or similar.
2)Skills/Capabilities/Working Experience Requirement:
1. Experience in sales or relevant, chemical industry working experience will be preferred.
2. Good capability to communicate, cooperate and influence across teams and functions .
3)Languages, Certificates and Skills:
1. Chinese with fluency in Mandarin is a must.
2. Workable English communication skill in written and reading, good oral English skill is a plus.
