Technical Support Engineer (Electronics)

The Technical Support Engineer is responsible for executing and implementing marketing strategies to achieve revenue growth and sales targets, as well as to define and deliver the value proposition of assigned assortment/channel/markets to potential customers in Greater China business.

\Marketing Strategy & Planning

• Build-up market insights through market mapping activities, understand the key strategies for assigned assortments/markets, follow-up and implement the annual marketing and project plan to achieve the business objectives and goals based on coach and guidance
• Get alignment with sales team for resource, action plan and business targets based on the coach and guidance.

Market Intelligence

• Collect the marketing information and data, including competition status. Support to analyze and generate the marketing report, including customer behavior, market trends, competitive analysis, and campaign performance, business suggestions and solutions to support business growth
• Understand the policies, regulations, and market practice for assigned markets or industries, feedback and deliver the information to the team timely

Product Marketing & Communication

• Understand and familiar existing product portfolio and lifecycle，and support supervisor to cooperate with internal team closely to develop the new product, follow-up the status and process, support the team to solve issues from marketing-end during the development process
• Collaborate with internal teams to support and implement the new product launch and introduction with clear marketing strategy and solution packages，enable target partners and end-users to achieve business growth.

Business Optimization & Development

• Support to organize and implement the training programs based on business requirement and support commercial team to improve business ability for assigned assortments/channels/markets based on coach and guidance
• Work closely with sales team and visit customers to understand the markets, product applications and customer needs，to promote new products and give on-site technical support
• Analyze new application trend and impact on tape and assist internal team in product development
• Give technical support in customer side to support product application or solve trouble shooting

Education Background

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Polymer, Material Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or equivalent

Skills/Capabilities/Working Experience Requirement

• Experience in marketing or related, chemical industry working experience will be preferred
• Be familiar with tape applications in consumer electronics would be preferred
• Have technical support or related marketing/product development experience in tape related product would be preferred
• Good speech and structured presentation skills, capability to communicate, cooperate and influence across departments
• Good learning ability and agility, good sense for business acumen
• Solid in MS office, good at Excel and PowerPoint
• Good information collection and data analysis skill
• Good sense for problem-solving, can identify problems and provide problem solution for routine issues/problems based on instruction and guidance
• Highly self-motivating, open minded and hands-on attitude
• Good sense for conflict management.

Languages, Certificates and Skills

• Solid English communication skill in written and oral
• Good sense for project management.

Other Requirements

• Business travel is needed, should be able to travel frequently
